Can anyone tell me how the champ division tie breaker rules work. Couldn't find the up to date big v bi laws. 3 teams equal on record has always been decided through results between those teams in the past. They must have changed it this season, does anyone know why mckinon didn't make it even though they had head to head on knox and had 1 more win in the mini ladder

Should be an interesting championship series with no team in particularly great form. Ringwood looked shaky on the weekend, but lets face it, the game was a dead rubber for them. Elthams form has been interesting and my prediction is that they will need to defeat Casey to advance any further. Hawthorn has been the big improver but just seem to be off the boil at the moment. The Hawks will probably play McKinnon , as i just dont think Waverley have been consistent enough this season and have been missing some top players. Just havent clicked. Champ series will be between Ringwood and Casey. Casey to win it all 2/1. Thats my playoff prediction. For what that is worth.
So why does the fixture for week one of finals have knox playing against hawthorn? Mckinon finished 6th didn't they?

SportsTG has most likely put the 3 teams with the same record in alphabetical order. If Knox lost the 3 way h2h they will be out. The league office will finalize the h2h today and schedule the finals.
Can Hawthorn beat Casey for a third time this season?

Is sobey allowed to play finals. I think you have to play 40% of teams games which is 9.6 rounded up to 10. Sobey only played 9?

Just watched big v tv and sober is qualified.matches played for your national team are taken into account

Can't punish Sobey for not playing Big V when he is playing for the National team.

What a ripper of a game between Westernport & Chelsea. Huge crowd, high standard, and some big plays. Chelsea just a bit too classy.
Great game. Riggs great mid season pickup. Will prove difference likely. Western port huge improver after last year.
Shepparton and Keysborough game was a cracking contest as well, some really strange calls kept it close.
Surely Keysborough can't play finals at Rowville. Fits 2 & dog in there.

McKinnon losing the plot against Ringwood. Live stream through ringwood hawks website goes alright. Deng Deng ejected after getting in the face of a ref...bit silly..
No ref deserves that.. but to be fair the ref had one of the worst games ive ever seen on the call. Both ways he made terrible call after terrible call.
